Mangi Power Electrical Services was established in 2025 in Shelby, North Carolina, by Eliphas Mlengu, a highly skilled electrician from Tanzania. As a proud member of the Chagga tribe, Eliphas chose the name 'Mangi,' which translates to 'Chief' in the Chagga language, as a tribute to his heritage and a symbol of leadership in the electrical industry. This name not only honors his cultural background but also represents the company's commitment to excellence and authority in the field. 

Eliphas developed his expertise in electrical work through rigorous training and hands-on experience beginning in 2020. In 2023, he successfully completed his three year Journeyworker Certification and Apprenticeship program at Cleveland Community College in Shelby, NC, laying a solid foundation for his future endeavors. His deep understanding of both residential and commercial electrical services combined with his natural aptitude for electrical systems to enabled him to gain a stellar reputation in the local community. As such, Mangi Power Electrical Services success is built on three core principles: high-quality workmanship, unwavering reliability, and an unyielding commitment to customer satisfaction.
